Paying homage to the artisanal workmanship of patterned fabrics, our classic Starling loafer in Rust Tapestry includes a vintage-inspired jacquard fabric. We covered our footbeds with a stunning satin lining for added softness and comfort. The smoking slipper is complete with suede tassels, our signature grosgrain backtab, and gold Birdies logo.

The Starling in Rust Tapestry runs true to size - the jacquard fits more snugly in order to mold to the shape of your foot over time. If you have a narrow foot or are in between sizes, we recommend going down a half size.

The Starling is our most universal fit and comes in many colors and fabrics. True to size, some find it slightly wide so we recommend narrow feet size down as well as those between sizes. Please note, velvet has a little give while suede fits more snugly in order to mold to the shape of your foot over time.
