We’re Bianca and Marisa, two busy moms and entrepreneurs. We founded Birdies in 2015 after years of hosting dinner parties in bare feet or frumpy slippers. We’d mastered the art of a great party — but somehow, our shoes hadn’t made the guest list. So we invented a new category of footwear: elevated, chic shoes made for home entertaining that combined the support of a sneaker, the softness of a slipper and the style of a luxury flat.

And a funny thing happened: you decided Birdies were just too good to keep inside and wore them everywhere.

When we started Birdies, we made a promise to each other and to our customers. Well, it was actually three promises, and they’re still around today. We promise that everything we make is stylish yet comfy, highly versatile, and championing women with every step.
