Does fabric matter? Yes, velvet has more give and a roomier fit while leather, suede, and calf hair are more snug at first then mold to your foot over time.

Do you wear socks with Birdies? Our flats, slides, and slippers are designed to be worn without a sock but it’s your preference. We recommend socks for most of our sneakers.

How do the flats fit? They’re made to fit snug, so we recommend wearing them without socks.

How do the sneakers fit? They have a roomier fit to move with your every step. We recommend wearing them with socks.

How do the slides fit? They fit true to size so if you like a little length at the back, go up half a size.

For a timeless twist on our sleek loafer, we redesigned our Vesper, adding more curvature to the topline and finishing it off with a penny loafer strap. Sumptuous Cappuccino leather is complemented by raffia accents that add levity and texture to this vintage-inspired shoe. The loafer is complete with our signature grosgrain backtab.
