Product Features
How to clean your Birdies?
We recommend sprinkling the inside with baking soda when they get a bit dirty. It will absorb and freshen it a bit and you can dump out any leftover that does not absorb.  As for the outside, we recommend using a soft bristled brush to wipe away any dirt or spots but do keep your Birdies away from water.

Can I wear Birdies outside?
Yes!  Birdies are made with a rubber sole, perfect for indoor and outdoor wear.

What kind outsoles do Birdies have?
Birdies have rubber soles.

What are Birdies?
Birdies are stylish flats that are secretly slippers.

Are Birdies vegan?
Yes, we offer multiple vegan options. All of our velvet and satin slippers are 100% vegan. We also list this on each product page for reference.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes! We currently ship to Canada, Australia, and the UK. These options will be available when entering your address at checkout. Shipping costs: $10 USD to Canada and the UK; $20 USD to Australia. Orders shipping internationally can take 7 to 15 days to arrive. At this time, we do not offer free return shipping on international orders, but we will refund your shoes if you want to send them back. Please reach out to for the shipping address.

A note about duties and taxes: We want you to have your shoes as soon as possible, so you’ll be charged these nonrefundable fees at checkout. This saves you the hassle of completing a complicated Customs payment process that could delay your delivery. And we definitely don’t want that.

What are the shipping options in the US?

2 Business Days: We charge $25 and orders placed by 12:00pm Pacific will ship out the same day. If you need something faster, please reach out and ask. We'll see what we can do to help!

How can I track my order?

Do Birdies fit both wide and narrow feet?
Yes!  Birdies fit wide and narrow feet. Given all of the comfort features built into Birdies, they will mold to your feet over time. 

How does sizing run for Birdies?
We have detailed sizing notes in the product description for each slipper. Please review the notes for the slipper you are ordering to get the right size.

What sizes do Birdies come in?
Birdies are available in whole and half sizes from 5-12.

Returns and Exchanges
I purchased a pair of monogrammed Birdies, can I return or exchange them?
No, monogrammed orders are final sale and cannot be canceled, returned or exchanged. However, if there is a defect in your shoes please email us at

What is your return and exchange policy?

We will accept a return or exchange of your unworn Birdies within 30 days of your order.  We offer free return and exchange shipping in the U.S.  You can begin your return by visiting


Once you receive a shipping label we have 14 days to receive your return or exchange. We will issue a refund to the original form of payment once we receive your goods. If we do not receive your items within the 14 day period we will no longer accept returns or exchanges of the item and you will continue to be charged. If you have selected an exchange, we will send out the new order 1-3 days after you turn the original order over to the post office to ship back to us.

A quicker way to exchange is to place a new order for the new size and return the original pair. 

We do not accept returns or exchanges of worn goods or those initiated later than 30 days after your purchase.

I received a pair of Birdies as a gift, how do I return or exchange them?
If you are not satisfied with your Birdies we will gladly accept a return or exchange of your unworn Birdies. You can process through our Returns Center by clicking "Returning a Gift?" You will be issued store credit to use on a new order.  

Does Birdies offer a Digital Gift Card?
Yes. Our Digital Gift Card arrives to the recipient via email, either instantly or on the date selected by the gift giver at time of purchase. The Digital Gift Card is redeemable both online at and in-store at our San Francisco flagship. All gift card purchases are final sale.

Does Birdies collect sales tax?
We are required to charge sales tax in certain states. Birdies charges all applicable sales taxes based on an order's shipping address.

Is there a discount code I can use for large orders?
Yes, we are happy to announce our Group Gifting program! We offer 20% off if you purchase four or more styles. Email us at for your exclusive discount code.

Can I stack multiple discount codes?
Currently we only allow one discount code per order.

When will my card be charged?
Your card will be charged when you place your order.

Is it safe to use my credit card on your website?
Your security is important to us. All credit card and transaction information is protected by the same level of security used by banks: a 256-bit SSL certificate.
