Does fabric matter? Yes, velvet has more give and a roomier fit while leather, suede, and calf hair are more snug at first then mold to your foot over time.

Do you wear socks with Birdies? Our flats, slides, and slippers are designed to be worn without a sock but it’s your preference. We recommend socks for most of our sneakers.

How do the flats fit? They’re made to fit snug, so we recommend wearing them without socks.

How do the sneakers fit? They have a roomier fit to move with your every step. We recommend wearing them with socks.

How do the slides fit? They fit true to size so if you like a little length at the back, go up half a size.

Leaning into the minimalist Resort trends, we played with mixed materials and thoughtfully polished details for this sleek and modern update to our classic, feminine sandal. Back with a new & improved fit, we added 2mm of additional padding at the ball of the foot and crafted a more flexible outsole, so that the shoe moves with you as you walk. Additionally, we extended the foot strap and curved the top buckle so that it hugs your foot and makes you feel supported. The Kiwi in Nautral Raffia features a faux-leather wrapped buckle with our signature logo.
