Worldly Inspiration
Inspired by the vibrant colors of Marrakech spice markets, Birdies’ Summer 2021 Collection of flats and slides is meant to transport you to faraway places. Bold colors, rich textures, and globally inspired details will have you daydreaming of future vacations and what it will be like to travel the world and experience new cultures again.
Material Variety
Our Summer collection features a variety of materials & styles that are light, breathable, and designed with the season in mind. Our vegan Starling and Heron flats (yes, they’re vegan!) are made from a raffia-like material in a basketweave style with breathable twill lining. Our classic Phoebe slides have been updated in breathable, vegan-woven leather with clear mesh lining. Our popular Songbird slides are made from a vegan, raffia-like woven and feature fun, hand-beaded fringe. And our elegant Swan slides come in premium suede, two of which feature a playful, woven cuff. The Songbirds have linen insoles, while the other styles in this collection feature natural-colored, vegan leather insoles.
Unique Design
Globally inspired embellishments make the shoes in this collection especially unique. Wooden beads that are hand-strung into a fringe design adorn our Songbird slides. Woven fabric cuffs featuring a zig-zag pattern on our Swan slides act as a bracelet to hold the foot in place for better walkability.

From bold colors—hello, fruit punch—to muted earth tones, the broad palette for our Summer Collection gives you different ways to spice up your Summer.
