As the founder and editor-in-chief of The Cool Mom Co., Lizzy juggles being a wife and mom of three with hosting her own podcast, creating and hosting Honest Renovations on Roku with pal Jessica Alba, and using her platform to empower all busy mothers. What is your definition of bold and how do you incorporate this into your day-to-day?
Bold to me means being your best self, walk into every room with confidence, and know that you deserve it ALL!
What’s a decision you made in your life that left you feeling empowered?
My podcast, The Cool Mom Code, has been one for the books — being able to have deep, meaningful, fun conversations with such phenomenal and powerful women who are making an impact. Starting The Cool Mom Co. felt like a game changer for me! I’ve been able to share my story alongside so many other women and mothers. That has empowered me in more ways than I could have ever imagined.
What’s one way you plan to make a bold move this year?
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve been given about being true to yourself?
Everyone else is taken. The only way to true happiness is being true to yourself. Know yourself and dive in. There isn’t enough time on earth to be anything other than your truest, best version of you!
What has been creatively inspiring you lately?
Inspiration comes in so many forms for me. From seeing the world through the eyes of my children, appreciating the beauty in art, the texture and taste of food, to the colors and textiles of design, it’s all a part of my creative process. But also, I am creatively inspired by other Cool Moms that I get to create businesses and new entities with.
