Birdies x Project Glimmer
To celebrate International Women’s Day, we hosted a Day of Empowerment for the girls of Project Glimmer in 2020. The “Work Your Magic” themed event included hair & makeup stations, professional headshots, macaron making, resumé writing, a career panel, and shoe shopping, of course!
For every pair of Birdies purchased on International Women’s Day, we donated a pair of shoes to Project Glimmer. We also donated 1,500 pairs of shoes for the girls’ graduation.

About Project Glimmer
Project Glimmer is a national nonprofit organization that inspires underprivileged teenage girls and young women to believe in themselves by letting them know their community cares. Project Glimmer gives meaningful gifts throughout the year—including holidays, graduations, and birthdays—to let each girl know that she is worthy and loved.
