This Birdie was the very first in our flock and is still beloved thanks to its refined almond toe and oh-so-feminine silhouette that sits lower on the foot, not to mention its ultra luxurious fabrics and trimmings. We gave our Blackbird a fresh update, incorporating a wide band across the top inspired by a beloved pair of loafers Princess Diana would often wear while on the go. I love the Blackbird! It is so comfortable and I love the look of this shoe. I have the Starling, which is even more comfy than the Blackbird, but I love the lower cut of the Blackbird. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE offer more colors for the Blackbird. I would love a couple of neutral pairs of them.

The shoes are very pretty, and there is nice padding on the inside. The leather is rather stiff, which makes them not as comfortable as I hoped, but they may soften with wear. They also gape at the sides of my feet, so I'm returning them.
